Zhong Liu has more than 30 years of experience in biotherapeutics development, including protein-based, cell therapy and gene therapy products. A recognized CMC expert, he has led multidisciplinary teams advancing programs from candidate selection through registration filing. Zhong has held senior roles at Berlex (Schering AG), Schering-Plough, Merck (MSD), Hitachi Chemicals, Adello Biologics and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Drug Development at NovaRock Biotherapeutics. Over his career, Zhong has led numerous IND filings and contributed to multiple successful registration filings, including Keytruda. Zhong obtained his undergraduate education from Beijing University and his medical training at Peking Union Medical college (Beijing, China). He received his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut Health Science Center.
