Ajay Duggal is a physician-scientist with approximately 25 of experience in clinical development across pharma and biotech. Trained in internal medicine and nephrology, he has held senior medical leadership roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, Genzyme, Takeda, and Pfizer. Prior to founding Adnovate Clinical, Ajay served as Vice President and Global Therapeutic Head General Medicine at Takeda. He has served as CMO/Interim CMO at several early-stage biotech companies, providing leadership across medical, clinical and translational development. Ajay’s experience spans oncology, inflammatory and immunological diseases, and advanced modalities including cell and gene therapies, biologics and small molecules. He has considerable experience in developing drugs for IBD indications and was involved with development of Entyvio and Takeda’s IBD pipeline, as well as serving as CMO of two early-stage companies developing new approaches for IBD.
